It’s been 23 years since Sex and The City’s Carrie Bradshaw click-clacked onto our screens and, as anticipation builds for the show’s second chapter (HBO Max’s And Just Like That…), Sarah Jessica Parker is offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to raid the character’s infamous wardrobe.
In partnership with Airbnb, the actor will be hosting two one-night stays (for up to two guests each) at a recreation of Carrie’s brownstone.
The collaboration marks the very first time guests will be given access to the style icon’s closet (including her iconic, credit-stealing tutu) and, at just $23 a night, it’s the deal of the year.
“The Carrie Bradshaw character is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy,” says Parker.
“I’m excited for our audience to experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, quite literally, for the first time.“
The full experience will include:
- A virtual greeting at check-in from Sarah Jessica Parker herself, and a custom narration to your stay.
- The opportunity to descend the steps of her brownstone and stroll the streets of Manhattan (splash from a city bus not included), and/or stay indoors and make cordless calls to your lovers.
- Cosmopolitans for a toast with friends.
- The chance to play dress-up in Carrie’s iconic closet, complete with her favorite looks, designers, and shoes!
- A styling session and photoshoot to remember the whole affair.
Airbnb will also make a one-time donation to The Studio Museum in Harlem, a contemporary art museum championing the work of artists of African descent, as part of the collaboration.
Sex and the City fans interested in living la vida Bradshaw can request to book these stays beginning Monday, November 8, at noon ET at airbnb.com/sexandthecity, for November 12th and 13th only.
