Just in time for Halloween, real estate platform Bungalo is launching a spooky new service for the month of October, taking its home inspection process to the literal next level by launching Paranormal Inspection Reports.

In addition to certifying each home with a 160-point inspection and an unaffiliated third-party inspection, Bungalo will offer the service of Paranormal Inspection Reports.

Throughout October, every home for sale on the Bungalo platform in Charlotte, Dallas, and Tampa will be examined by professional paranormal investigators, including Becky Vickers of BECKS Ghost Hunters (known for appearing on ‘Ghost Adventures’ and ‘Ghost Stories’ on the Travel Channel) and Jeremy Rettig of Genesis Paranormal Services. The teams will inspect homes for paranormal activity, such as unusual electrical fields, unexplained movement, and feelings of being watched. Investigators will generate a Paranormal Inspection Report accessible to potential buyers in each listing’s online document vault.

As explanation for this unusual type of inspection, Bungalo President Deb Bradley states the goal is to make sure that “customers move in with confidence and certainty. We inspect each home on our platform meticulously to guarantee zero unwanted surprises, and this October, that includes surprises of the supernatural kind.” Bradly goes on to say that, “performing paranormal inspections in addition to our usual home inspections gives our buyers added peace of mind knowing that they’re making the right choice with the most important purchase of their lives.”

Bungalo’s research shows that 86% of home buyers want to ensure that “the biggest purchase of their life won’t come with future headaches or expenses.” Bradley notes the importance of disclosing everything about a home during the inspection process can, with some properties, include paranormal activity.
