Film producer turned Colorado developer Alan Elias is a visionary from his socially conscious films to environmentally attuned luxury real estate to creating the four-season luxury residential resort of AngelView At Twin Lakes. The 75-acre ultra-private development on the shores of Twin Lakes (the largest glacier-formed lake in Colorado) is about 35 miles east of Aspen over Independence Pass and near Vail and Breckenridge. It is also a two-hour drive from Denver. AngelView has two lakes, waterfalls, hiking trails and much more—the wetlands provide an ecosystem for various birds and other wildlife.
Since first seeing the AngelView land 12 years ago, Elias, founder and managing partner of AngelView Land Development, has parlayed his progressive skills to create AngelView. “The world now realizes they don’t have to be confined to a big building in a city,” said Elias, who initially believed he would build his family their dream Colorado home at AngelView.
“People can work from this beautiful place. AngelView is a legacy, a promise I made to my family about nature and sharing it with family and friends. That’s our goal. We’ve gotten so confused in life about what’s important, and here at AngelView, you can’t miss it,” said Elias, whose film credits include “Age Out,” “Tortured for Christ,” and “Little Boy.” In addition, he has worked with leading global companies and non-profits, building customized marketing and enterprise technology solutions.
To bring his dream to reality, Elias, based in Austin, put together a team of 180 professionals, including water rights attorneys, land surveyors, general contractors, architects and environmentalists. There are 18 three-to four-acre ultra-private homesites at AngelView.
MORE FOR YOU
“We are only selling vacant land with both mountain and lake and mountain views for buyers to build their own custom homes. Currently, there are two homesites reserved with 16 left, which are estimated to be priced from $1.25 million to around $4 million. We haven’t priced them all yet as we are releasing one phase at a time,” explains Sarah Wolfe, branch broker for the Aspen office of luxury brokerage Silfer Smith & Frampton Real Estate, who is handling the sales and marketing for AngelView.
“We know our target buyer is an affluent and active family who are looking at this as a second or third home purchase,” Wolfe explains. “I’m a fifth-generation Coloradoan, and I’ve not seen a community like this. It sits right at the base of Mt. Ebert, Colorado’s highest mountain,” Wolfe adds.
AngelView, no doubt, is in a beautiful part of the country. Picture unending views of Douglas Fir overlooking the unique beauty of Twin Lakes. There are private walking and hiking trails, an on-property trout-stocked lake, a private clubhouse and event space. Nearby are more lakes, rivers, mountains, and forests.
In addition to a housekeeping concierge to take care of your property inside and out, from cleaning to stocking your wine cabinet AngelView owners will enjoy an Adventure Concierge. Owners can call on the Adventure Concierge to help plan and execute an array of outdoor activities around AngelView and the surrounding area, from skiing to fishing to equestrian pursuits.
Access to AngelView is convenient when flying private. “We think most of our owners will fly in privately, which is easy for them since the longest private runway in the state is in nearby Buena Vista,” Wolfe observes. Now that’s a selling point.
