EXCLUSIVE: Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts will grow its portfolio to now include 7 resorts, which are either operating or currently under construction. In a joint venture with Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts EMEA, the two companies currently operate 3 Resorts in Dubai, UAE; Bodrum, Turkey; and Porto Heli, Greece. Under the same partnership, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Santorini is planned to open in 2019.
Santorini is one of the most sought after seasonal luxury destinations on the Aegean Sea and in the world. As the first lifestyle resort with private beach access, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Santorini will consist of 60 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants and the signature Nikki Spa. It will be the brand’s second location in Greece.

Under the Nikki Beach Global portfolio and situated on a private peninsula in the bay of Budva, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Montenegro will be part of a luxury private villa development. The property overlooks a marina and the historical old town of Budva, which was founded by the Romans. As the most lively resort and party destination in Montenegro, Budva attracts sophisticated travelers and the super luxury yachting community. The property will offer up 150 rooms and suites, 20 ultra-luxury villas, 3 individual private beaches, a jetty, 5 restaurants, Nikki Spa and Tone Gym. The brand’s popular beach club concept, Nikki Beach, will also be integrated into the resort.
Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Sri Lanka will be located within a new development in the area’s most pristine beach of Balapitya. Surrounded by rolling hills and rainforests, the year-round property will consist of 200 rooms and suites with rooftop pools and a stunning private beach. There will also be 4 restaurants and bars on site, a Nikki Spa, Tone Gym and Nikki Beach integrated into the resort pool.
Nikki Beach is also celebrating 20 years in business. The beach club brand, with 14 locations around the world started in 1998 as a quiet garden by the sea located in Miami Beach. It was called Café Nikki to honor the life of Nicole Penrod, Jack Penrod’s daughter who was killed in a car accident when she was only 18.
To commemorate its 20 years, Nikki Beach will be hosting a private black-tie event at its annual pop-up during the Cannes International Film Festival in May as a way to give back to the brand’s loyal supporters and to mark the occasion at one of its favorite destinations. For the 17th consecutive year, Nikki Beach will be hosting a 12-day beach house pop-up on the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, France, where guests will sit oceanside and enjoy a unique mix of music, dining, entertainment, fashion, film, and art.
Following the celebration in Cannes, Nikki Beach locations around the world will also be hosting a 20-year event during a peak time in their season to commemorate the occasion with all six of Nikki Beach’s elements present: music, dining, entertainment, fashion, film, and art. Each event will pay homage to the brand and include unique local tie-ins.
And if that’s not enough, Nikki Beach has collaborated with publishing house Assouline to create a hardcover coffee table book celebrating 20 years. The book, which will be available this Spring details the brand’s story, and includes celebrity quotes, personal anecdotes and beautiful imagery from the past 20 years.
And finally, Nikki Beach has also partnered with 12.29 to develop its very own home fragrance collection consisting of a room spray and diffuser. The Nikki Beach scent is named “Saint Tropez” after one of the brand’s most popular beach club locations, the second in its history and the first one in Europe. “Saint Tropez” was created exclusively by 12.29’s Dawn Goldworm.
