Sylvester Stallone may be best known for playing fictional Philadelphian Rocky Balboa on the big screen, but when it comes to offscreen living, the box-office star has long been a Southern California resident. Specifically, the actor and his family have made their home for decades in a sprawling mansion in Beverly Hills.

The legendary estate, which hit the market earlier this year for $110 million, was designed by noted architect Richard Landry and built in 1994. A new video tour for the property shows off all the knock-out features inside.

Listed with luxury real estate luminaries Rick Hilton, Jeff Hyland, Barron N. Hilton and Tessa Hilton of Hilton & Hyland, the masterful mansion combines contemporary and Mediterranean design elements.

Beyond the glass-paneled front doors, the residence features a two-story entry that flows into the living room. Arched French doors in the living room area take in views of Rodeo Drive and beyond.

Further inside are sophisticated spaces for any occasion: a professional-grade theater, a gym, a formal dining room and a massive chef’s kitchen. A custom cigar room is equipped with an air-filtration system. In the spectacular bar room, mirrored accents draw the eyes above the bar area while custom steel-framed doors open directly to a putting green. A life-size statue of Rocky Balboa adorns the memorabilia room.

The main house has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms including a decadent primary suite complete with a sauna, steam room, office and terrace. According to the Los Angeles Times, Stallone updated the house every few years and worked with Landry to add a guesthouse and other touches to the property. The enhancements included giving the living spaces a more contemporary feel.

Outside, the park-like setting features a zero-edge swimming pool and spa that creates the illusion of flowing off a cliff. Elsewhere on the property is an air-conditioned eight-car garage with an art studio.

The property sits on 3.5 acres within North Beverly Park, an exclusive guard-gated community known for its larger-than-life estates and the personalities that own them. Other residents in the enclave include actors Denzel Washington and Mark Whalberg and Lakers great Magic Johnson. The estate of late media magnate Sumner Residence sits next door to Stallone’s.

As for what’s next for Stallone and his family, reports have the “Expendables” and “Rambo” star headed Southeast. Last year, the actor reportedly bought a sprawling compound in Florida’s Palm Beach area for about $35 million.
