Madonna is betting on Los Angeles once more. After spending most of the covid pandemic in an L.A. rental, she has just purchased a secluded seven-bedroom home for $19.3 million in the celebrity-filled neighborhood of Hidden Hills. The seller was musician The Weeknd who first listed the property for $24.9 million last summer. He purchased the three-acre estate in 2018 for $18.2 million.
Madonna has been a Los Angeles property owner a few times, including lush homes in Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Now that Hidden Hills is her home locale she can add her name to the list of big names who have strolled these same streets. Just a few of them include: Justin Bieber, Drake, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Britney Spears and multiple Kardashians. As a gated community it is private enough, yet also close to Malibu and Calabasas so it isn’t completely removed from where the action is.
