One of the co-founders of WeWork, Adam Neumann, and his wife, Rebekah Paltrow Neumann, are selling their five floors of real estate in a boutique building in New York’s Gramercy Park. The price includes a triplex penthouse on the upper floors as well as a 1,245 square foot duplex apartment on the first floor. This is the only active listing for the six-unit building, in which the Neumanns also own a second duplex unit on the first floor which is not included in the sale. Neumann stepped down as CEO from the embattled WeWork last fall after it failed to complete its IPO and the company quickly went from an impressive $47 billion valuation to one of about $8 billion. Forbes estimates Neumann’s net worth as $1 billion.

This four-bedroom unit used to be four separate condos which the couple purchased for a combined $35 million and then brought on Pietro Cicognani to oversee the remodel and Windsor Smith to design the interiors. The new look of the 7,880 square feet unit stays true to the 1920s era when the building was built, with white walls adorned with classic molding and many fixtures in an antique bronze range. Pictured below is the living room, with working fireplace, that has an elaborate light fixture in subtle metallics. Peeking out from under the rug is the herringbone pattern of the wood floor—a pattern also visible inside the fireplace.

A circular staircase connects the levels of the unit, with a chandelier that hangs all the way down to the lower level. As the floor plans show the layout of the home has the bedrooms on the lower two floors and the top floor, on the seventh level of the building, is where the main living spaces and kitchen are. From this level there is access to a rooftop deck about 800 square feet in size.
