The long-awaited interiors of the triplex penthouse atop Miami’s Aston Martin Residences have been revealed through the release of several renderings showcasing the expansive interiors, as well as a few hints at the 7,300 square feet of private outdoor space. Above is a partial view of the full-length living room which highlights the curved nature of the building’s exterior walls, designed to mimic the prow of a ship sailing on the ocean (for a full view of the main living room, including the double-height ceiling, see larger photo below, after the text).

The penthouse has been named the UNIQUE both for its one-of-a-kind design and, thus far, it is the only triplex penthouse in the world ever developed by Aston Martin. With 19,868-square feet indoors, a private pool, spa, elevator, rare Aston Martin Vulcan that comes with the purchase and the opportunity to work with the brand’s in-house design team on the final details, the seven-bedroom, eight-bath unit is the focus of a limited edition art book also entitled “Unique” which brings together the history and the future of the Aston Martin aesthetic.

G&G Business Developments, the development team behind the building, commissioned a 10-piece orchestra to create an original score to capture the mood and ambiance of the residences and asked several notable artists to enhance the renderings along the theme of ‘waking up at Aston Martin’. In addition to the renderings, the book includes historical Aston Martin photos from a private collector which show famous Aston Martin race car drivers and, in one image, Queen Elizabeth touring the UK factory where the cars are made. The musical score can be accessed via a QR code inside the leather-bound book.

“It took us over a year to complete,” said Alejandro Aljanati, CMO of G&G Business Developments, referring to the 70-page book. “We left the last six pages blank so the owner can write their own history.”

The development company has incorporated artistic elements in the building since its conception, even devoting an entire floor to an art gallery. Artist Julian Lennon kicked off the virtual launch of the art space with some of his personal photography, which he elaborated on here.

Aljanati added G&G is creating a custom-made lectern that matches the penthouse aesthetic as a sculpture piece to hold book (which weighs in at over 10 pounds) and will work with a calligrapher to fill in the blank pages for the owner.

Sales have been continually brisk at the 391-unit building which is due for completion in the first quarter of 2023. There are only about 10 apartments left, according to Aljanati, including the triplex penthouse, one of their Signature penthouses, and a handful of other units on the lower floors.

A consistent motif throughout the unit’s design is creating a sculptural piece out of functional components within the living spaces. This glass staircase was custom made for the triplex, with a handrail inspired by the same curve from the wings of the Aston Martin emblem.

A main bedroom has a wraparound balcony and subtle support columns blend in with the space.
