Lofty units with Central Park views dominated last week’s priciest listings.
Combined, the top five listings in New York City totaled $127.7 million, that’s $20.7 million more than the previous week’s total.
Here’s a look at the five most expensive properties to hit the market between March 2 through March 8, according to an analysis of StreetEasy and Compass data.
1. 111 West 57th Street, Unit #68 | Midtown | $30 million
The three-bedroom sponsor unit spans close to 3,900 square feet and an entire floor in JDS Development Group’s slender tower. The condo includes refrigerated wine storage, 14-foot ceilings and Gaggenau kitchen appliances. Douglas Elliman’s Amy Williamson has the listing.
2. 3 East 95th Street, Duplex Unit | Upper East Side | $28.4 million
The 10,350-square-foot condo is a duplex with the landmarked Carhart Mansion, which was built in 1916 and celebrated for its 18th century French Classicism. The unit has private elevator access, a wood-burning fireplace and a large balcony. Stan Ponte of Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing.
3. 50 Central Park South, Unit #24B | Midtown | $25 million
The three-bedroom condo at the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton overlooks Central Park from its master bedroom and living room areas. The 3,895-square-foot unit has an eat-in kitchen and two walk-in closets. Yifan Zhao of Compass is handling the listing.
4. One57, Unit #58A | Midtown | $24.8 million
The 4,483-square-foot unit high in the tower on West 57th Street has 58 feet of floor-to-ceiling windows facing Central Park. The condo has three bedrooms, four and a half baths and its grand salon consists of a backlit bar, entertainment center and formal dining room. The unit was the first in the building to be flipped in 2014 for $34 million. The listing is with Deborah Kern of The Corcoran Group.
5. 520 Park Avenue, Unit #25 | Upper East Side | $19.5 million
The three-bedroom single-floor home sprawls 4,628-square-feet. It consists of a library, family room, living room, gallery, kitchen and dining room. The unit has 11-foot ceilings and White Oak hardwood floors. It was sold to an anonymous buyer for $21 million in 2018. Compass’ Brian Lewis has the listing.
