Martha Stewart’s Daughter Lists $53 Million Custom Three-Level Condo

Former Sirius XM host and daughter of Martha Stewart, Alexis Stewart, has listed her custom-designed triplex unit in the Richard Meier-designed 165 Charles Street building for $53 million. She combined four separate units over the course of several years to create this 6-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom unit across three floors looking out over the Hudson River. The 9,500 square feet of living space consists of 16 rooms in total including a kitchen with two butler pantries, a walk-in fridge, library, media room, gym and laundry room with three washer dryers. The master suite takes up the entire third level with a dressing room lined with wood plus a master bath with terrazzo floors and tub. Each floor has its own private entrance. 

Out of the 29 units in the building, there are two other units for sale, both 5-bedroom units asking $7.9M and $9.5M. Another unit is available for rent at $30,000 per month. The building was designed to appear similar to two existing buildings on the nearby Perry Street so they would complement each other across the skyline. 165 Charles won the AIA Housing Design Award from the New York chapter in 2005.
